Account Manager (Client Servicing)
The eCommerce Account Manager role is critical to the success of our agency and client relations. You're responsible for building relationships with clients and uncovering revenue opportunities for our agency. You will work with clients as a first point of contact and ensure their strategy is properly executed. You will continue to manage this relationship and ensure their needs are met from project to retainer. You will work directly with our clients, as well as our design, development and production team to oversee the success of our clients.
Liaising with the development and design team to make sure all tasks are completed successfully.
Strategize, develop & write proposals for prospective clients & existing clients.
Heavily involved in the pre-sales process, discoveries, and quarterly reviews.
Act as the point of contact for clients for digital management matters.
Build strong, long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact.
Set digital strategies for your assigned customers, considering their specific requirements.
Suggest, design and implement digital projects to increase client’s ROI.
Address client queries effectively and in a timely manner.
Report on web performance metrics.
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
Manage multiple projects & development and other technical projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding the short term and long term goals of your client(s) and drive the team towards the execution of those goals.
Driving the day-to-day activities as well as having a bird’s eye view of the account.
Planning digital roadmaps, working closely with Orius’s and your clients’ key stakeholders.
Prepare timeline, calendars and budgeting for all projects.
Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Maintaining, evaluating and developing effective project management processes.
Managing the delivery of high-quality work within budget, brief and deadline in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
We are looking for a candidate to contribute, improve and optimize our process, as well as bring new ideas and strategies to client projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Administration, PR or any other related field.
At least 3+ years agency, eCommerce and/or account / project management.
2+ years experience in customer relationship management e.g. building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
2+ years experience in account management e.g. serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
Strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills with clients as well as with the internal team.
Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time and prepare reports on account status.
Customer/service-oriented and calm mannered, able to accommodate difficult clients, and highly adaptable to change.
Have the desire to join a fast-paced, results-driven team.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
A positive can-do attitude, have initiative and be proactive going beyond the call of duty.
Experience managing resource allocation
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Bonus: Strong command of the software development life cycle (SDLC), online collaboration tools, mainstream project management software, budget management, schedule management, change management process
Must be able to quickly learn, understand and apply new technologies
Organized, detail-oriented.
Knowledge of e-commerce and relevant platforms an advantage such as Woocommerce, WordPress, Magento, Shopify, Shopify Plus, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, FB Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads.
Huge plus if you have eye for aesthetics design.
