JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Strategizes, builds and executes new programs to enhance the organization's people operations as well as assessing current programs for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures a sustainable strategy is developed and activated for organizational programs such as employee engagement, onboarding, performance management, safety, diversity and inclusion and other programs that are identified as important to the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Serves as point of contact to all levels of employees in the company to provide interpretation of employment laws and regulations, policies and employment-related matters.
  • Consults on performance issues, disciplinary actions, terminations and the investigation and resolution of employee complaints. Seeks guidance and partners with the Executive team and legal counsel on more complex issues, as appropriate.

  • Assess the training and leadership needs of the managers and employees in the company. Plan and coordinate training with the goal of increasing the effectiveness of the managers and employees.
  • Ensure that the onboarding process is a smooth and integrated experience for new employees and perform activities such as New Employee Orientation and completion of required paperwork. This also includes ensuring that the employee is informed and knowledgeable of required company policies.
  • Responsible for updating, maintaining and communicating to employees any company human resource policies, procedures, benefits, etc. including changes to these or to laws or other regulations.
  • Perform other people operations activities such as processing employee separations, generating leave management paperwork and tracking and workers compensation administration.
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with other human resource professionals and partners.
  • Manage all related HR matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field : Phycology, Human Resource etc
  • Minimum 3 years experience in people management and human resource
